Faculty Voice Kenneithia Mitchell

American Soprano, Kenneithia Mitchell is a Grammy winning, recording artist who is lauded by The San Francisco Classical Voice, “There is something in Kenneithia Mitchell’s voice that goes straight to the heart. Her students sing music from all different genres such as classical, pop, gospel, jazz, spirituals, and musical theater. She also gives vocal training for orators in broadcasting, infomercial, preaching as well as voice- over actors. With students from all stages of development and ages ranging from six (6) years old, Mrs. Mitchell trains individuals who are a complete novice and have never had a voice lesson or acting class, never been in chorus, cannot read music, or who have never had a table read, to teens as playlist favorites on SoundCloud and Spotify as well as professional singing and acting artists with top number one hit records on the charts, singers on The Voice, lead award winning actors, performers at Walt Disney World,

Disney Tokyo, in Off-Broadway hits and international pop and social media sensations. Her students have won multiple awards and have been accepted to some of the top schools in the U.S. including Manhattan School of Music (Opera performance majors with full scholarship) Boston Conservatory (full Scholarship), Florida State University, Fisk University (full Scholarship), University of Florida, Ithaca College, Howard University, Pace University, Carnegie Mellon University, NYU, University of Central Florida, Stetson University, University of Michigan, Marymount Manhattan, Oberlin Conservatory, Peabody Conservatory, New England Conservatory, Howard University, Catholic University, and Indiana University. Her student actors have also been accepted to top schools in the U.S. including the Stellar Adler Studio of Acting in New York City as aspiring Thespians, AMDA, University Of North Carolina, SCAD, and NYU Tish. Several of her high school teenagers including her own daughter was awarded an applause award for best lead actor in a musical and the chance to represent Orlando, Florida as a candidate for the Jimmy Awards in New York City. She has also trained professional singing artists with an internationally released single and video that was the highlight at the EDC Orlando 2019 and hit #1 on the Billboard charts in Italy.

She originally began teaching as a request to so many fans who admired her singing and repeatedly asked if she taught in addition to her professional career. For years the reply was always a resounding “No!!” With constant travelling and touring in other countries she rarely ever stayed in one place for an extended period. and simply did not have enough down time to be consistent with training other individuals. Therefore, taking on students wouldn’t be something she could commit to. Nonetheless, she realized there was a gift and an overwhelming passion inside her to share with other performers. However, she noticed how little performing opportunities there were available for minorities. Her passion began to grow so strong that she created performing opportunities for those in urban communities and opened her very own teaching studio called Ultimate Soprano, Inc. Its mission is “To provide an open door for aspiring young artists.” Through Ultimate Soprano, Inc. Mrs. Mitchell developed Ultimate Soprano Vocal

Studio which presents three annual fully produced concerts for her singers with live band, dancers, commentators, and actors.

Mrs. Mitchell has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal performance from Morgan State University and a Master of Music degree from the Juilliard School and is an eight-time award winning director of "The Book False Profit" live-streaming now on Tubi TV.
