Faculty Piano Ammon Perry Bratt

A concert virtuoso of refined musicianship, Ammon Perry Bratt has performed internationally and throughout the U.S. and has garnered numerous musical awards and honors since a young age. He performed by invitation at the World Piano Conference in Novi Sad, Serbia, and has appeared in concert in many distinguished venues throughout the world including Carnegie Hall (New York City), Lviv Philharmonic Hall (Lviv, Ukraine), ACS Performing Arts Theater (Athens, Greece), Villa Bertramka (Prague, Czech Republic), Holy Trinity Lutheran Cathedral (Warsaw, Poland), Teatro Orione (Palermo, Sicily), Linder Auditorium (Johannesburg, South Africa), SOTA Concert Hall (Singapore), Auckland Town Hall (Auckland, New Zealand), Palais Montcalm (Quebec City, Quebec), and Hill Auditorium (Ann Arbor, Michigan).

Additionally, he has been a prize-winner in many piano competitions including the International PianoTeams Competition, the Fort Collins National Piano Competition, the Utah State Fair Piano Competition, the Four Corners Piano Competition, and the Jacobs School of Music Concerto Competition. He has performed for dignitaries of various nations and as a concerto soloist with orchestras in Utah, Michigan, and Indiana.  This past summer, he served as a piano faculty member at the Austria Summer Music Festival in Weyer, Austria, and performed for his second time at Carnegie Hall.

Ammon received the Bachelor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan and the Master of Music degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University where he was also appointed as an associate instructor.

Ammon resides in Windermere, Florida where he teaches privately and serves as a church organist.
